Progressive Introductory Weeks
New to university? Want more than just lectures and timetables? Want to help shape things, get involved, and find out how real change is possible? – Then come to the Progressive Orientation Weeks 2026!
The Progressive Introduction Weeks (PEW) will take place again this year in Magdeburg from October 15th to 30th, 2026. During PEW, numerous (university) groups, initiatives, and associations dedicated to a socio-ecological transformation will present themselves. Whether it's climate justice, feminism, anti-racism, or solidarity-based economics – during these two weeks, you'll meet people actively working towards a more just and sustainable society. A diverse range of events awaits you: workshops, lectures, film screenings, city tours, and much more. Network, get involved, and help shape life on campus and in the city of Magdeburg!
