Tasks
The Green Office is the central contact point for all matters relating to sustainability at Otto von Guericke University. The tasks of the Green Office include:
Implementation of the sustainability strategy
- Proposal and initiation of measures
- Supporting OVGU members, committees and initiatives with projects
- Acquisition of funding
Networking internal and external stakeholders
- Participation in regional, national and international initiatives
- Support for sustainability events
- Advice on project applications/start-ups
Information and reporting on sustainability processes
- Development of instruments for monitoring/ evaluation
Climate protection management
- Development of an integrated climate protection concept
- Energy and greenhouse gas balancing
- Initiation of measures, organization and stabilization of climate protection
